195.55 STREET ART : MAYE, SET OF 5 AEROSOL PAINTED PANELS (9mm) - 253x125 cm for each panel, FULL DRAWING 250x625 cm - This painting was created by MAYE during the ExplosiTion 2013 event, which took place in Vandœuvre on 16 June 2013. It is a unique piece, never reproduced. The panels are reinforced with wooden battens at the ends. Despite being 13 years old, this transportable fresco is perfectly well preserved, bearing the marks of time, which only serve to embellish it, like a piece of street wall that has been removed. One of the panels has a scar, which does nothing to detract from the graphic quality of the work. Whether in a living room, a loft, a shop, an office, a waiting room or anywhere with high ceilings, this piece can be read patiently, each day revealing a different detail. The artist's graphic style has evolved since then, but this is definitely a MAYE creation, moving from bubble/cartoon representation to a highly refined and intelligently meticulous style today.
