Jean-Baptiste van Eycken (Brussels, 16 September 1809 - Schaerbeek, 19 December 1853) was a 19th-century Belgian painter specialising in history, religion and genre painting.
Trained at the Brussels Academy, he was known for his romantic and neoclassical style, influenced by Ingres and the Old Masters. He produced numerous works for Belgian churches, including La Dernière Chanson de Sainte Cécile and large paintings for Notre-Dame de la Chapelle in Brussels.
