A facial mask known as an ‘Okuyi’, carved from a single piece of wood, with kaolin and pigments; the eyes are half-closed; it features a prominent headdress with three conical sections; figurative scarification is depicted in the centre of the forehead; on the back is an old collection label bearing the number ‘82’.
