Description
A Bressan-style cabinet in moulded and carved walnut, decorated with a basket of flowers on the pediment and an acanthus leaf frieze. Featuring a straight cornice, it opens on one side via two doors revealing four tiers, with four drawers in two rows below the third tier, and on the other side via a drawer with a dummy lock. Wrought-iron frame. 19th century, probably made in Sennecey-le-Grand. Comes with its key (functional lock, fitted later). Approx. 231 x 164 x 69 cm. (Generally in good condition; restored; notable snags on one internal drawer; slight sun damage and signs of wear; a few holes caused by wood-boring insects).
