* 17th-century school: "Tarquin and Lucretia" Oil on canvas mounted on board. In a wooden frame with gilded papier-mâché (damaged). Approx. 117 x 99 cm; 133 x 115.5 cm including the frame. (Damage and losses, tears, perforations, soiling, wear to the paint layer, water stains). Note: the composition echoes, in the figures’ poses, that of Titian’s eponymous work (c. 1571) held at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.
