Straight-sided secretary desk in wood veneer with rosewood and other wood marquetry on the frieze, frame and Greek friezes featuring simulated fluting; opens via a drawer, a flap revealing a recess flanked by two ‘baluster’ columns, with five drawers and three drawers in the lower section; the rounded side panels rest on two curved front legs. Louis XVI style. 19th century. Grey marble top.
