DAUM, Nancy – Glass bottle for lemon balm, featuring an acid-etched design of poppies accented with gold and black on a frosted background in shades of blue. Signed in gold beneath the base: “Daum / [Cross of Lorraine] / Nancy”. Mount and cup in 950‰ gold-plated silver (vermeil). Silversmith’s hallmark “G D” (?) vertical with a distinctive animal motif facing left. Art Nouveau period, c. 1905. In compliance with regulations (Minerva’s head hallmarks, 1st title). Net weight of removable parts: approx. 22.9 g. Approx. 14.5 x 3 cm. (Very good condition, minor wear to the gilding, slight soiling, a small chip on the outside of the glass stopper).
