Lio CARMINATI (1923–2007) & Gio PONTI (1891–1979) – ‘Biancamano’ ARMCHAIR, designed c. 1950, with an openwork frame in bamboo, wicker and rattan. Approx. 120 x 78 x 68 cm. (Signs of use and wear, minor losses). Note: Carminati, a pupil of Ponti, is said to have created this design with Ponti for the luxury liner Conte Biancamano; it was later produced by Bonacina.
