René MATHIEU (1905–1969) for LUNEL, attributed to Wall light with a black lacquered metal frame and gilded brass trim; a fluted mounting bracket supporting an adjustable arm, ending in a ball joint allowing the light arm to be positioned, with a gilded brass counterweight and socket. Without a lampshade. Missing parts, minor damage, oxidation. Max. dim. 70 x 86 cm. Provenance: Original furniture from a villa in Caluire-et-Cuire built in the late 1950s, where it has remained ever since.
