Diameter: 18 cm -Late 19th–Early 20th century Gardner Porcelain Factory – a porcelain factory founded in 1766 by Francis Gardner in Moscow during the reign of Catherine II, which operated until 1892 when it was bought by Kuznetsov; this porcelain adorned imperial and princely tables – marked in red on the reverse (in Cyrillic) ‘Gardner Factory, Moscow’, the imperial coat of arms (double-headed eagle) and Saint George slaying the dragon (the coat of arms of the city of Moscow)
