A lovely little presentation plate in 925°/°° silver (Minerva hallmark) in Regency style, vermeil-plated by Christofle Orfèvre, with scalloped edges featuring a frieze of ovals, punctuated by four shells and scrolls in relief, and marked with a number in the centre. Presumed date of manufacture: 1935–1939 (scale hallmark combined with the MO hallmark – ‘O’ for bee, ‘C’ for bee, surmounted by three stars). Diameter: 16.7 cm. Weight: 260 g (vermeil partially worn in places)
