Large tripod incense burner in an archaic Ding style, made of bronze with a brown patina; the sides are covered with raised knobs against a background of leiwen motifs; two vertical handles rise from the rim, decorated with leiwen on the inside. With a lid and a base in carved and openwork wood; the lid handle is in the shape of a lotus bud.
China, Qing period, 18th century.
(Minor damage to the lid and base).
