Wooden PERFUME BOTTLE CASE, silver funnel, glass bottles. Late 18th century. Square wooden case, lid decorated with a marquetry design in the shape of a cross pattée, handle, keyhole and key. Interior lined with silk (stains and tears). Silver funnel edged with double fillets within a shield bearing a count’s crown, supported by two lions: azure with three silver cross pattées (Coat of Arms of MESLON). Cracks and losses to the veneer on the lid. Height. (box) 17.5 cm; Weight (funnel) 20 g.
