MASSON André Aleth (1919–2009) A trompeur jug in glazed terracotta, with a body decorated with incised scroll motifs and a spout in the shape of a seahorse. (small chip to the openwork scroll frieze on the neck) Unsigned Height: 20 cm Provenance: estate of André Aleth Masson. Certificate of authenticity from Mrs Sylvie Masson, the artist’s daughter. This piece was exhibited in Paris at the 1950 Salon des Indépendants and appears in a photograph on p. 21 of the book *André Aleth Masson* by Thomas Leporrier. TL Éditions, 2011.
