SAINT-CLOUD A large, circular, deep earthenware dish decorated in the centre with floral scrolls in blue on a white background, imitating the designs found on Chinese porcelain. The rim is adorned with four floral medallions set against a latticework background. A wide blue border runs along the edge of the rim, and a frieze of geometric motifs encircles the base of the dish. A similar piece is held at the Musée de Sèvres.
