Description
Jules LELEU (1883–1961)
A mahogany-veneered bookcase comprising three sections; the central section opens via two sliding glass panels to reveal an interior with height-adjustable shelves, flanked on either side by two full-height cabinets with solid doors concealing height-adjustable shelves. Central upper cornice projects forward, whilst the central base is set back and features a wide, curved moulding. Rectangular brass lock plates (scratches, veneer chips, restored hinges and minor dents).
Stamped within a cartouche.
