A beautiful tulip-shaped silver goblet, resting on a pedestal decorated with ovals, adorned halfway up the body beneath a moulded rim with alternating appliqués of lanceolate leaves and lambrequins against an amati background. Engraved beneath the rim with a broad frieze against an amati background. Early Louis XV period. 18th-century Fermiers Généraux hallmarks. Paris jurisdiction and city, 1749 (letter I). Hallmark: a salmon’s head. Height: 11 cm. Weight: 175 g.
