Plain silver tastevin, featuring an intertwined serpent handle, resting on a small cord-shaped base. Hallmarks of the Fermiers Généraux of the Rhône Valley, 18th century. Lyon 1756–1762. Hallmark of master silversmith Jérôme ALBERTON, admitted to the guild in 1739. Weight: 112g. The silversmith’s hallmark is reproduced in the reference work *L’orfèvrerie de Lyon et de Trévoux* on page 112.
