Joan MIRO (1893–1983). “Fantastic Animal”. Lithograph signed in the lower right-hand corner, with the initials ‘H.C.’ (for ‘hors commerce’) in the lower left-hand corner, mounted under glass in a red lacquered moulded frame. This illustration was used for the poster for the exhibition “Miro, l’œuvre graphique”, which took place at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris in 1974. Image size: 53 x 53 cm; Including frame: 74 x 74 cm. Minor signs of damp and various signs of wear to the frame. Provenance: Hiroaki OKITSU collection
