Oil on canvas, signed and dated 1840 in the lower right-hand corner, in a gilded wooden frame contemporary with the work. Stretcher: 41 x 28.5 cm; Including frame: 51.5 x 44 cm. In good condition despite a few minor signs of wear; the frame is slightly damaged.
