Description
FRANCE, after 1838. Shaped silver pieces, 950 ‰ comprising a bonbonnière with two pairs of handles and a fretel decorated with two birds in the Neo-Renaissance style, a small tripod bowl in the shape of a half-egg decorated with cartouches, some of which are floral, and two four-legged salt cellars in the Rocaille style. Work from the second half of the 19th century. Minerva hallmark, first standard; French work after 1838. Candy dish: 15 x 19 x 12 cm. Bowl: 8 x 11 cm. 616g6 excluding the glassware. A small section of the applied decoration on the bonbonnière has come loose; there is some wear and minor damage. Included are a few silver-plated metal pieces, namely a small openwork bowl with a handle, and two navettes on pedestals. Minor wear to the silver plating.
