FRANCE, after 1838. A 950 ‰ silver tea set comprising various pieces, consisting of a single-handled teapot with a wooden handle and a hinged lid, a tea cup on a low stem with its saucer, and a tea strainer. The set dates from the second half of the 19th century. Minerva hallmark (1st standard) and boar, French work after 1838. Teapot: M.O. Edmond MOLLE (Paris, 1898–1919), H. 16cm, with indentations. Cup and saucer: M.O. Martial FRAY (1849–1861), height 8 cm, cup slightly warped and distorted at the base. Tea strainer 5.5 x 5.5 cm without the clip, minor distortions. Total weight 440g9.
