PARIS, 1891–... A silver set, mainly 950‰, comprising a sugar bowl and a jug. Four-legged sugar bowl bearing the number B1003, with a separate lid of a similar design, the interior of which is vermeil-plated and hallmarked with a weevil motif (imported piece/of uncertain origin from 1893 onwards). Three-legged jug with a blackened wooden handle, bearing the number M1751. Maker: Charles HARLEUX (Paris, 1891–?). Minerva hallmark, 1st standard; French piece dating from after 1838. H. 13 and 17.5 cm. 292g6. Very slight dents and distortions.
