A substantial cutlery set comprising 227 pieces in total, in 950‰ silver from Maison HENIN et Cie, with a set of stainless-steel-bladed knives from Maison CARDEILHAC. Presented in a drawered case. The cutlery set comprises 36 large pieces of cutlery, 18 small ice cream spoons, 2 sprinkling spoons, 18 cake servers with 1 additional cake fork, 18 teaspoons, 18 fish knives, 17 fish forks, 1 fish serving set with an additional fish serving scoop, 1 large serving spoon, 3 serving scoops, 2 ladles, 1 sauce spoon, 1 small serving knife and 1 small serving scoop. M.O. HENIN et Cie (Paris, 1875–1891). Minerva hallmark, 1st title; French-made after 1838. A different model: twenty-four knives with stainless steel blades and ivory-coloured handles, twenty-four knives with stainless steel blades and mother-of-pearl handles, and two small serving knives with stainless steel blades and mother-of-pearl handles, Art Deco style, blades by M.O. CARDEILHAC. 9kg580 of silver (excluding the knives). Case slightly damaged. Good overall condition.
