Description
NORMANDY, late 19th century. A cross known as the ‘Saint-Lô Cross’, in silver and rock crystal. 6.3 x 5.5 cm. Weight: 11g3. Minor chips, damage and slight distortions; traces of soldering. Traditional regional jewellery worn mainly in Lower Normandy; the stones, including the base, feature a black stain to give them as antique an appearance as possible.
