France, Early 19th century. Cavalry flintlock pistol model An XIII, composite. Cal. 17,6 mm. All grey metal parts stained and superficially oxidised. Smooth round barrel, with thunder flats, and stamped "B" in cursive under star. Breechblock unmarked (gone). English flintlock lock. Cast brass fittings. Walnut stock and brass fittings AN XIII type. Stylish steel ramrod. Mechanism not functional, not blocked. Inside of barrel with surface oxidation. 36 cm (barrel 20 cm). (As is).
