Colonial Medal with "TONKIN" bar and its certificate.
In silver, by Georges Lemaire, ball-and-eye design with a double-sided loop. Complete with its ribbon and silver "TONKIN" clasp. It comes with its certificate awarded to André Omer LOISEAU, First Class Mechanical Worker, who took part in the Tonkin expedition in 1899, issued in Lorient on 6 November 1900.
Presented in a period frame with glass and gilded stucco moulding. The medal and certificate are not visible outside the frame.
