Description
France, 19th century. Small 17th-century-style dagger in the style of Violet le Duc. Steel mountings, wooden handle bound with string and covered in sheepskin with steel filigree, crossguard with straight quillons. Straight, tapered double-edged blade with a mottled grey patina. Fawn-coloured leather scabbard. 32.5 cm (blade 22 cm). (Signs of wear and minor accidents of use; fairly good condition).
