Undated, mid-19th century. Small sapper’s axe (for the fire brigade?). Small crescent-shaped blade with a curved edge and long steel tangs. All metal parts have a light grey patina and traces of rust spots. Natural wood handle with a steel ferrule and ring. No visible maker’s mark or hallmark. Blade: 10 x 19.5 cm. Handle: 40 cm.
