Model 1845 infantry officer’s sabre.
Gilded cast brass mount (remnants), cap edged with laurel leaves. Filigree horn grip. Guard openwork with plant motifs and rosettes. The crossguard ends in a coiled quillon. Tassel missing. Grey blade, with a hollow edge and flat back, unmarked and without hallmarks. Brown leather scabbard, not in period style, with a cast brass ferrule and a suspension ring.
