LEFAUCHEUX-system officer’s pin-fire revolver, a civilian LEFAUCHEUX model based on the 1858 Navy model.
Calibre 10.7 mm. Six-shot. Serial number "LF 110227" (stamped on the right side of the frame). All metal parts with a light grey patina and small spots in places. Round rifled barrel with a front sight mounted on a dovetail, the top marked "E. LEFAUCHEUX BRté S.G.D.G. A PARIS". Smooth cylinder. Smooth walnut stock plates and ring-shaped butt cap. Steel cleaning rod present. Functional single-action mechanism, with two distinct cocking notches and no play. Barrel interior dirty with surface oxidation and shallow scratches. Complete.
