1961 model officer’s sabre.
Cast brass mount with three secondary branches, a dome-knobbed, short-tailed pommel. Black celluloid grip with brass filigree. Natural leather strap. Slightly curved blade with a hollow edge and flat back, marked on the back: "LIEUTENANT JEAN PHILIPPE BOLMONT D.A. 1977/1978 E.A.T.". Steel scabbard with nickel-plated finish, featuring a suspension ring and an asymmetrical tip. It comes with a small officer’s dress sword strap, a brown cord with a slide and a tassel made of trimmings with large gold spinach-seed beads.
