Belgium, late 19th century.
"BULLDOG" type centre-fire pocket revolver, manufactured in Liège
Calibre approx. 6 mm. Five-shot. Serial no. 2244. All metal parts retain their original bronze finish, oxidised with rust spots in places. The frame is marked "R" beneath a crown and "A" beneath a star. Hollowed-out five-chamber cylinder, marked "ELG" and "C" beneath a crown. Folding trigger guard. Black ebonite checkered grip panels. Mechanism in working order, single and double action, with a crisp cocking notch and no play. The inside of the barrel is oxidised with good rifling.
13.5 cm (barrel 4.5 cm).
