Description
Belgium, late 19th century. "BULLDOG" type centre-fire pocket revolver, manufactured in Liège Calibre approx. 6 mm. Five-shot. Serial no. 2244. All metal parts retain their original bronze finish, oxidised with rust spots in places. The frame is marked "R" beneath a crown and "A" beneath a star. Hollowed-out five-chamber cylinder, marked "ELG" and "C" beneath a crown. Folding trigger guard. Black ebonite checkered grip panels. Mechanism in working order, single and double action, with a crisp cocking notch and no play. The inside of the barrel is oxidised with good rifling. 13.5 cm (barrel 4.5 cm). (Signs of wear and patina from age, fairly good condition).
