Description
France, First World War. Adrian helmet shell, 1915 model for infantry troops, damaged. 90% of the original factory midnight blue paint remains. Model 15 ‘infantry’ front badge originally fitted. Denting on the left side. Lining and chin strap missing (impact?). Included: - A small 20 mm calibre brass shell casing engraved with ‘Division Navale du Levant’ It comes with a small handwritten note from the period mentioning its provenance (French Cuirassier). Height: 12 cm. - A 75 mm calibre brass shell casing, dated 1915 and converted into a vase with a hammered ivy leaf decoration. Height: 26 cm. (As is).
