Kingdom of Baden, Second Reich (1871–1918). Mug belonging to reservist OSWALD, 7th Company, 4th Baden Infantry Regiment ‘Prinz Wilhelm’ No. 112. Mulhouse, 1908–10. White porcelain richly decorated with polychrome military scenes. Pewter lid topped with a seated soldier and the griffin handle, symbol of the Grand Duchy of Baden. The base of the tankard features a couple in relief. H. 31.5 cm. (Signs of wear and patina. In good condition).
