France, Second World War. A fine collection of documents and memorabilia relating to OFLAG VI A in Soest, Westphalia (Germany). - The book *Oflag VI A* by Marc Blancpain and Morel Fatio. A copy printed on Vélin Reflex paper, with a print run of 1,800 copies; ours bears the number 1131. Published on 15 July 1941 in Wuppertal-Elberfeld. This copy belonged to Captain GERMAIN of the General Staff of the 42nd Army Corps / Third Army, who was interned at the Bainville-sur-Medon prisoner-of-war camp on 23 June 1940. Includes a letter from the author, Marc Blancpain, to Captain GERMAIN.
