Description
France, second half of the 20th century. Traditional pennant of the 1st RCS (Command and Support Regiment), displayed on its pennant stand bearing the name "Captain JP BOLMONT". Rectangular, double-sided pennant, made of multicoloured satin assembled in several sections and embroidered in chain stitch. It is edged with fawn leather featuring three fastening straps for the pole on one edge and gold-coloured trimmings on three sides. It is mounted on a white metal pole topped with a finial. The pennant stand is made from a MAS 36 LG 48. Pennant: 31 x 41 cm. Pennant stand: 60 x 25 x 49 cm. (Signs of wear and minor damage from use; in fairly good condition).
