United States, 20th century. Replica of a "Colt Navy" type revolver with a shoulder stock for black powder shooting. Cal. 36 PN. Serial number not visible. Made in Italy. Short octagonal barrel. Brass frame; the cylinder and barrel have a black-bronzed finish. The left side of the barrel is marked "BLACK POWDER ONLY 36 CAL" and the right side "MADE IN ITALY". French proof marks “PN” under a crown. Functional mechanism with two distinct cocking notches and no play. The inside of the barrel is dirty but has good rifling. 51 cm (barrel 13 cm). (wear and minor signs of use; in good condition). Weapon classified in category ‘D’ under Decree No. 2023-557 of 3 July 2023; unrestricted acquisition and possession.
