Description
Charles-Michel GRANGER (19th century) Oil and vinegar set in 950°/°° silver, bearing the ‘vieillard’ hallmark of the 1st title, Paris (1819–1838); the bowl is adorned with an openwork frieze featuring a design of butterflies and festoons, with two swan-shaped handles. Mount decorated with vine leaves and tendrils; baluster-shaped handles adorned with palmettes and a fruit bowl. Two cut-glass carafes. Paris ‘grosse garantie’ hallmark. Master silversmith: PM, crescent and two grains of medicine. Weight: 1202 gr Needs reattaching.
