A gilded bronze and grey marble mantelpiece set comprising:
- A clock decorated with a vase of flowers flanked by foliage scrolls and a knotted ribbon, surmounted by a trophy depicting a quiver with arrows and a torch. On either side, lion’s paws serving as side handles.
An enamelled dial on a white background with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, signed ‘Lépine, 2 rue Vivienne’.
Blade movement signed ‘Lépine’ in Paris.
The piece stands on four spindle-shaped feet.
