Bronze with a brown patina.
Signed on the pedestal and titled on the plinth.
Resting (not fixed) on a Napoleon III-style clock in black marble with four bronze legs, featuring a dial with Arabic numerals on a white background, decorated with garlands of flowers and signed ‘A. MÉTAIS Neufchatel’.
It forms a mantelpiece set with a pair of three-armed candlesticks in bronze with a brown and gilded patina, resting on a black marble plinth terminating in bronze lion’s paws.
