Vietnam 19th century. A blue and white porcelain vase, baluster shape with a flared neck, decorated in blue underglaze with a lakescape animated with pavilions, bridges and mountains in the Sino-Vietnamese style. On the reverse, a poetic inscription in Chinese characters.
Number 59 in the inventory of the collection of Dr Jean Leuret, surgeon in Cantho (Vietnam) in the 1950s/60s.
