Vietnam, 20th century. Pair of square porcelain plates with cut sides, decorated in blue underglaze with a lakeside landscape animated by a pavilion, pines and mountains under a rising sun, the wing decorated with a continuous geometric latticework, the reverse with stylised decoration in reserves.
Provenance: Collection of Dr Jean Leuret, surgeon in Cantho (Vietnam), 1950/60, inventory no. 523 or 524.
