A set of travelling knives with ebony handles, one featuring an 18-carat yellow gold (750‰) blade, the other a steel blade engraved with the manufacturer’s name, LESUEUR. Each handle is adorned with a coat of arms, and the ends are decorated with a frieze of stylised foliage.
Accompanied by their green shagreen carrying case with two compartments, opening via a push-button mechanism.
Late 18th century, early 19th century.
Length of knives: 18.5 cm.
Case length: 21 cm.
