A lamp in chiselled and gilded bronze; the circular lampshade is crowned with a stylised pine cone surmounting garlands of flowers and lined with pink silk, whilst the shaft is adorned with a series of flames, vase, connecting spindle with leaf-motif rosettes and twisted dolphin heads. The whole rests on a notched base in cherry-red marble, finished with small spinning-top feet.
