Description
A small clock with an irregularly shaped case, featuring so-called ‘Boulle’ marquetry of tortoiseshell and brass. The upper section is adorned with a vase of flowers; the crown is moulded; the circular dial features blue Roman numerals inscribed on white enamelled discs. Ornamentation in chiselled and gilded bronze, including foliage scrolls, rocaille and flowers. The whole rests on four small scroll-shaped feet.
