A portico clock in white and black marble, adorned with chiselled and gilded bronze fittings.
The upper section is crowned with a vase of flowers; the side posts are fluted columns with asparagus-shaped scrolls, surmounted by candle holders. The circular dial is enamelled white with black Arabic numerals for the hours and quarters, signed ‘HERNAULT à PARIS’ and framed by laurel leaves. The rectangular base has two stepped levels, decorated with openwork foliage motifs and a row of pearls.
With hallmark, key and a sunburst pendulum.
