Description
A portico clock in alabaster and gilded bronze. The upper section is crowned by a lidded vase with leaf-shaped handles. The circular white-enamelled dial, with hours and quarters marked in Arabic numerals, is flanked by two fluted pilasters decorated with applied pine cones, quivers and antique-style oval medallions in Wedgwood porcelain, a wreath of flowers and rows of pearls.
The whole rests on a rectangular plinth ending in four spinning-top feet.
With key, sun-shaped pendulum and gong.
