A small chest of drawers with a curved front and sides, finished in exotic wood veneer and marquetry, featuring four drawers arranged in three rows, with projecting side panels and a scalloped lower crossbar. The piece rests on four arched feet. Chiselled and gilded bronze ornamentation, including corner finials, drawer handles and lock plates. Top of grey marble veined with pink and white.
Stamped with the mark of Claude Pierre LEBESGUE, admitted as a Master on 6 May 1750, and ‘JME’.
