A counter-height sideboard in blackened wood with ‘Boulle’ marquetry in tortoiseshell and brass, the upper section topped with white marble veined with grey; the front opens via a door, the side panels are bevelled, the lower rail is ornately moulded, and the whole rests on two feet that are rounded at the front and straight at the rear. Ornamentation in chiselled and gilded bronze, including accent mouldings, foliage motifs, corner finials in the form of espagnolettes and keyhole surrounds.
